Slam Dunk 2027 reveals first bands and a Reel Big Fish reunion
Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan and Killswitch Engage are among the first 29 bands announced for Slam Dunk Festival 2027. There’s also a UK exclusive Reel Big Fish reunion on the bill, plus changes to ticketing ahead of an app-only presale in October.
The festival returns to Temple Newsam in Leeds on Saturday, the 29th of May 2027, followed by Hatfield Park on Sunday, the 30th of May. Both dates get the same line-up, so you won’t have to choose between North and South based on which bands are playing.
Reunions, anniversary sets and plenty of noise
Along with Bowling For Soup and Simple Plan, the first poster confirms Reel Big Fish for what the festival is billing as a UK exclusive reunion. Less Than Jake, The Interrupters and Grade 2 are also confirmed.
For anyone after something heavier, Killswitch Engage and Beartooth are joined on the bill by Wage War, The Amity Affliction, ERRA, Melrose Avenue and From Ashes to New. Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, The Maine, The Academy Is... and Cute Is What We Aim For are also heading over.
There are anniversary celebrations to get stuck into as well. The festival is billing Trophy Eyes for a Chemical Miracle 10th-anniversary set, while We The Kings are listed for a 20th anniversary appearance.
Twenty years. We’ll give you a moment with that one.
The Front Bottoms, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, Mouth Culture, As December Falls, RedHook, Overgrown and Love Rarely complete this first announcement, with more artists still to come.

Tickets: £130 in the presale, then £140
The first chance to buy tickets comes through the Slam Dunk app at 10am on Friday, the 2nd of October 2026. One-day entry will cost £130 including booking fees, with the limited presale running for up to 48 hours, subject to availability.
Remaining tickets will go on general sale through the festival website and other official outlets at 10am on Monday, the 5th of October, priced at £140 including fees.
Slam Dunk says it has changed its ticketing approach following fan feedback. Booking fees are included in the advertised entry prices, and the festival says there won’t be further price increases after general sale opens.
“No surprises at checkout. No price increases later. The price you see is the price you pay!” the announcement says.
Payment plans are being advertised from a £32.41 deposit, followed by £14.37 monthly payments until May.
There’s one small detail worth checking before you budget. Slam Dunk’s ticket information page also lists a £3 fulfilment fee for See Tickets payment plans. Neither the announcement nor the ticket page makes clear whether that fee is already included in the advertised deposit and instalments, so check the total payable when choosing your plan.
VIP add-ons will also be available from the presale. These are a separate purchase on top of an entry ticket - the £130 admission price does not include VIP access. Full ticket information and app download links are available through Slam Dunk’s official website.
