Ozzfest 2027 moves to Milton Keynes as three dates are confirmed

Ozzfest's return to the UK has had a change of address. The festival was supposed to be heading to Villa Park in Birmingham next summer, but it's now moving to The National Bowl in Milton Keynes. And that's not the only news, with dates also confirmed for California and Mexico City.

The UK show will take place on Saturday 10th July 2027, with Sharon Osbourne overseeing the lineup and Download Festival boss Andy Copping helping to bring Ozzfest back to Britain.

There's just one thing we don't know yet. Who's playing?

Ozzfest goes international

The UK isn't the only country getting Ozzfest in 2027. Three dates have now been confirmed.

  • Saturday 10th July – The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, UK

  • Saturday 11th September – Glen Helen Amphitheater, San Bernardino, California, USA

  • Saturday 18th September – Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, Mexico

San Bernardino takes Ozzfest back to where it all began in 1996, while Mexico City will host the festival for the first time.

These will be the first Ozzfest events since the New Year's Eve show in Los Angeles in 2018, and the first since Ozzy's death in July 2025.

Sharon Osbourne is putting the line-ups together, with Andy Copping involved in the UK event following his work on Back To The Beginning.

Ozzfest built much of its reputation on giving newer metal bands the chance to play to huge audiences. Sharon has previously spoken about wanting to continue that approach, but we'll have to see what the 2027 line-ups look like.

Tickets go on sale before the bands are announced

Here's something to consider if you're thinking of going.

Early Bat tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 6th November 2026, with the UK general sale reported to be following at 10am on Tuesday 8th December.

That's a pretty big leap of faith for anyone buying straight away, because not a single band has been confirmed yet.

Then again, with Sharon Osbourne and Andy Copping putting the UK event together, there's certainly plenty of interest in what they might have planned.

For now, we know Ozzfest is returning, we know where it's going, and we know when tickets are available. The bands are still a mystery.

Tickets and further details are available through Ticketmaster.

Why the move to Milton Keynes?

Villa Park was announced as the venue back in August, following Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's final performances at Back To The Beginning in July 2025.

But construction work at Aston Villa's stadium has scuppered those plans.

Sharon Osbourne explained that the organisers had a choice between moving the festival and delaying it for another year.

"The choice was to move Ozzfest or postpone it for another year."

Milton Keynes isn't exactly unfamiliar ground, though. The National Bowl hosted the first UK Ozzfest in 1998, with Black Sabbath, Pantera, Slayer, Foo Fighters and Soulfly among the bands on the bill.

Ozzfest returned to the Bowl in 2001, when Slipknot, Tool, Papa Roach and Disturbed joined Black Sabbath on the line-up. Its last UK appearance was at London's O2 Arena in 2010.

So, while Birmingham might have been the original plan, there's plenty of Ozzfest history at Milton Keynes too.
